Spend a creative day exploring the expressive possibilities of mark making.
You will learn how to create a collection of unique decorative papers using paints, inks, washes, and bleach, which you will enhance with layers of texture and pattern using both natural and found mark-making tools, discovering new ways to create rich and expressive designs.
In the afternoon, through simple construction techniques, you'll learn how to bring your decorated surfaces to life as distinctive three-dimensional vessels or jugs.
This workshop is suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to more experienced makers. Whether you're looking to try something new, develop your creative confidence, or expand your mixed-media practice, you will be guided through each stage in a relaxed, supportive, and inspiring environment.
