The Decade of Centenaries Roundtable are inviting you to a Resource Fair taking place over three days, 24th-26th February 2021. 

Our Resource Fair will highlight a number of existing resources already available to support your ideas and help you develop some new ones!The Decade of Centenaries 1912-1922, include a series of significant events in Ireland that changed the physical, cultural, political, and economic landscape today, North and South.The Government of Ireland Act 1920 led to Northern Ireland as a separate legal entity on May 3rd 1921 and in approaching the 100th anniversary, we have the opportunity to reflect on this period on time, acknowledging different perspectives and complexities of a contested history that may influence how people view and may respond to this anniversary. The Resource Fair offers a variety of approaches and opportunities for respectful listening and engaging in constructive dialogue about the impact of Partition.The Online Resource Fair will provide opportunities to discuss the use of the resources and their application in way that reinforces Principles of Remembering. The Principles are available to view on the Community Relations Council website.There will be short info sessions each morning to quickly highlight the resources that are available. Longer afternoon sessions will demonstrate some of those resources in action. Participants will also receive a resource pack with links and information to the resources available.The following organisations are taking part each day. Some contributors have more than one session. A full daily programme will be issued in advance to registered participants.Day One: Wednesday, 24th FebruaryThe Community Relations Council, Heritage Lottery Fund, The Junction, Public Records Office of Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen, Living Legacies at Queen’s University, Ulster Historical Foundation, The Irish Linen Centre and Lisburn Museum.Day Two: Thursday, 25th FebruaryBuilding Communities Resource Centre, Causeway Coast &amp; Glens Borough Council, History Teachers Association, Corrymeela, Newry, Mourne and Down District Council, Derry City &amp; Strabane District Council.Day Three: Friday, 26th FebruaryThe Nerve Centre, Corrymeela, History Teachers Association, Building Communities Resource Centre, Derry City &amp; Strabane District Council, Public Records Office of Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Screen and Living Legacies at Queen’s University.RegistrationOn the next page you will have the opportunity to register for one or more of the days. This event will take place on Zoom. Each day will have a separate Zoom link. The links will be sent to registered participants the day before the event takes place.
