Overview

Join Lucy Starling and learn some fascinating facts about moths, observe the process of recording them and take some wonderful photos.

Hosted by Lucy Starling, President of the Natural History Society (https://www.bathnats.org.uk/), with members of the Bath Natural History Society Moth Study Group, there will be a chance to see a variety of moths (the butterflies of the night). Light traps will be set locally in private gardens overnight on 6th June and you will have the opportunity to observe the process of recording moth species, learn some fascinating facts about these amazing insects and have a great opportunity to take photographs. The event will take place outside in the park and also inside the community pavilion. A selection of refreshments will be served which are included in the ticket price.
