Join us for our July Family workshop and make your own mask!

This month we&#x27;ll explore mask-making inspired by Dan Cowlam&#x27;s exhibition &#x27;Ghost Hat Lizard&#x27;. Design a character, make a mask and explore the exhibition as your new character! The workshop is based in our gallery at <a href="https://modernpaintersnewdecorators.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Modern Painters, New Decorators</a> in <a href="https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Modern+Painters,+New+Decorators/@52.7720957,-1.2097035,17z/data=!3m2!4b1!5s0x4879bfb3ac9427a3:0x2fbbbb0e9f15498f!4m5!3m4!1s0x4879e0b0763b816f:0x769c79092b17f124!8m2!3d52.7720957!4d-1.2075148" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Carillon Court Shopping Centre</a> and all materials for the workshop will be provided.Please book a ticket for all group members, including adults and children. Drop in anytime between 11am and 1pm.If you are having difficulties or would like support in completing your booking, please email us, and we’d be happy to help - ursula.mpndprojects@gmail.comAbout Archive Fever‘Archive Fever’ is a four-part project about collecting and collections hosted by Modern Painters, New Decorators, funded by Arts Council England and produced in partnership with Leicestershire Museums Collection. It consists of four solo visual art exhibitions alongside a programme of creative workshops for visitors and young people. Joanne Masding, Jagjit Kaur, Dan Cowlam and Katie Schwab will each produce new work in response to the items held in the Leicestershire Museums Collection.Taking place over 2022 at our gallery space in Carillon Court Shopping Centre, the exhibitions are open to the public.
