Event description
The artist Emma Talbot discusses her practice, which bridges the personal and political.

About this event

Emma Talbot discusses her practice, which bridges the personal and political, and charts a feminist journey through prevalent contemporary concerns, such as social politics, gender, the natural world, and our intimacy with technology and language. Exploring inner landscapes through drawing, painting, installation and sculpture, her work could be understood as visual poems, imbued as they are with language, emotion and narrative.

Recent solo exhibitions and projects include those at CIRCA, Piccadilly Circus (2021), Eastside Projects (2020), Kunsthalle Giessen, Germany (2020), Dundee Contemporary Arts (2020), GEM Kunstmuseum , The Hague, Netherlands (2019-20), and ArtNight 2019 commission: Your Own Authority, William Morris Gallery.
