Master Class: Toby Ziegler

Inaugurated in 2007, the Zabludowicz Collection’s London project space presents a varied programme of group and solo exhibitions, commissions and residencies, drawing on works from the collection and new works by artists linked to the collection curated by our team. A public programme of performances, talks, screenings and workshops accompanies every show.

Talk by Toby Ziegler, part of Master Class, the professional development programme led by the Zabludowicz Collection.

An artist-led professional development programme for eight UK-based, early-career artists, Master Class includes talks given by guest tutors, which are open to the public. Toby Ziegler makes paintings, sculptures and videos. They explore the ways computers have changed how we think, and look at things.Doors open from 6:30pm. Talk from 7pm-8:30pm.BiographyToby Ziegler was born in 1972, in London, where he still lives and works. He received his B.F.A. (Hons), from Central St. Martin’s School of Art, London in 1994. Recent solo exhibitions include Long live ghosts, Galerie Max Hetzler, Berlin, Germany, The Desparate Ones, Stiftung zur Förderung zeitgenössischer Kunst in Weidingen, Weidingden, Germany and Pronk, Simon Lee Gallery, Hong Kong. His work had been included in shows at Pallant House Gallery, Chichester, Southbank Centre, London, Towner Art Gallery, Eastbourne, Chisenhale Gallery, London, and Hepworth Wakefield. His work is included in collections such as Belvedere Museum, Kadist Art Foundation, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Arts Council of England, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Contemporary Arts Society, The British Council and Tate, among many others.
