Is this an all day event?

Yes, the doors will open at 9am (and we’d advise you to be in your seats for 9.50am so you don’t miss the big start). The event will run from 10am until 7pm with an hour lunch break in the middle of the day. Because of the electric atmosphere that you’ll witness at Master Y

There are three main sections to the Master Your Life event.

The second is "Your Defining Moment" before we fininsh with "How To Achieve Your Biggest Goals" before we finish off with a performance from the incredible Ella Henderson

Is lunch provided?

Accepted Answer

No lunch isn’t provided. Like most theatre shows you’ll find catering and kiosks throughout the venue. There are also lots of restaurants, fast food establishments and cafes nearby. Some of them you’ll find in the ICC and others are in the immediate area around the venue.

What time will it actually start?

The doors open at 9am and we’d suggest being sat in your seat for 9.50am. Give yourself plenty of time in case the traffics bad or there’s a hold up getting you to your seat. The show will start promptly at 10am.

How much are tickets?

Tickets range from £199 to £499. There are four different tiers and each one has a different benefits. With some of them you’ll get a signed book, whilst with others you’ll get a clipboard, pen and blindfold.

Are there hotels nearby if I decide to stay over?

Yes, there are plenty of hotel options nearby. Whether it’s a budget hotel or somewhere luxurious you’ll find what you’re looking for in Birmingham city centre.

What's the venue like?

Iconic. The Symphony Hall really is a special venue. It’s been hailed as the best concert hall in the UK. As soon as you walk into the theatre you’ll see why. We couldn’t have found a better venue for such a spectacular event.

Are there scheduled breaks?

There’s a lunch break that’s scheduled to take place after the second part of the show (named ‘the defining moment’). Other than that, you’re free to nip to the toilet, grab a drink or have some fresh air whenever you like. But be warned, you won’t want to take too long. This really is action packed

Do I have a designated seat?

No, when you enter the venue you’ll be given a wristband that matches your tier. You can then sit anywhere you like within that tier. And if you get a little stuck or confused, just ask a steward for help.

Is this a mindset event?

Yes, Master Your Life is a mindset and personal development event. It’s a bit like an event and a gig all rolled into one. You’ll hear from some of the best speakers in the UK, see a chart topping global superstar sing live AND go through an experience like nothing you’ve ever witnessed before.

Is this a gig?

It certainly has some of the traits that you’d expect to see at a gig. 
The global superstar performing live,
The electric atmosphere,
Singing and dancing…
But Master Your Life is a personal development and mindset experience with a twist.

What time will it finish?

Accepted Answer

The event will finish at 7pm prompt. You’ll leave on such a high after a really big finish. Please plan your trip back to the hotel or your home well in advance so you can end your night on a high.

Is local transport nearby?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can get Taxis, The Bus, The Metro or The Train. The nearest stations to Symphony Hall are: Crescent Theatre which is only 137 meters away, it’s approx a 2 minute walk. Brindley Place is 262 meters away, or a 4 min walk. Brindley Place Metro (Stop Br7) is 264 meters away, also a 4 min walk.

Any other transport?

You can also get the tram from ‘The Library’ tram stop which is just by the Symphony Hall front entrance on Centenary Square. 
There is a bus stop within 150m of the venue. The nearest mainline train station is ‘Birmingham New Street’ (which usually has lots of Taxis outside if none are available)

Can I get a refund?

All tickets are non-refundable in accordance with our ticketing policy.

How long is each speaker?

Accepted Answer

The speakers vary in length. Some of the speakers will be on for 30 minutes. Others will be on for 45 and one of speakers will speak for 1 hour. They will all combine to tell a story that’s integrated and work together to give you the best experience possible.

What will I learn?

Accepted Answer

You’ll learn about mindset. How to take your growth to another level and what self development really means. The speakers will show you what’s been holding you back before releasing you so that you can propel forward. Then they’ll teach you the true meaning of a defining moment.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes, either bring some cash, your card or some food for lunch. Lunch isn’t included in the ticket price so you’ll need to organise and arrange this before the event. You should also bring some coloured pens (writing in coloured pens can help you remember more) and a pad or journal.

How will I meet other people?

You’ll have the opportunity (choice) to engage, share and discuss some of the learnings you’ve had with the people in front of you, behind you and to the left or right of you at multiple points in the event. You’ll also have chance to network before the event, during lunch and after the event too.

Will it be fun?

Yes it will. There’s going to be so much energy in the room on the day. Expect an electric atmosphere and lots of fun, laughter and excitement as you get ready to Master Your Life.

Is there live music?

Yes, there’s lots of music throughout the day including live music from the utterly brilliant Ella Henderson. Ella will perform a full 45 minute set towards the end of the event.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

No, unfortunately not. This event will sell out and tickets can only be purchased digitally on the website.
