Course Aim
To equip Activity Providers with inclusive, person-centred approaches to physical activity that are suitable for individuals who are cared for in bed, ensuring engagement, dignity, and comfort are central to delivery.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
• Understand the importance of gentle movement for people who are cared for in bed
• Explore safe, creative ways to embed physical activity into one-to-one and bed-based sessions
• Recognise how to personalise movement activities based on individual preferences and needs
• Gain confidence in working alongside care staff to support mobility and wellbeing

Please note: The training environment will need to be quiet and undisturbed. Staff will need to give the course their full attention and should not be on duty.
Each person attending this event needs to have purchased a ticket.
As an attendee of the training day you MUST have your camera on during all of the sessions, this is to verify your participation/attendance.
Certificates of attendance will only be issued to attendees who attend for the whole of the session. This course will be delivered via ZOOM and will include, presentations, discussion and reflection, case studies, videos and demonstrations. Please make sure that you are familiar with using ZOOM.
