Discover your inner artist in this vibrant, hands-on masterclass led by artist and educator Sue Lewry. Held in Ocean Studios by the sea, this one-day workshop is an opportunity to explore the expressive potential of screen printing through abstract shapes, layers, textures and colour.

Under Sue's friendly and approachable guidance, you’ll learn professional screen printing techniques and how to use colour with plenty of time to play, experiment and develop your composition using a curated set of imagery created by the artist. 

Whether you’re brand new to the process or have screen printed before, this session offers something for everyone. All materials are provided, wear comfortable footwear and clothes you don’t mind getting inky. By the end of the day, you’ll leave with screen prints of your own and skills to develop in this joyful, tactile art form.

About: Sue Lewry is an early career researcher at the Arts University Plymouth. She incorporates workshops into her research practice. By signing up for this screen print masterclass, you agree that some of the findings may contribute to her academic research.
