Masterclass: Mediating with Neurodiversity
Mediating with Neurodiversity
Neurodiversity encompasses a wide range of neurological variations including Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, ADHD and Autism.
Join us for our CPD Masterclass: Mediating with Neurodiversity. When neurotypical and neurodiverse minds come together, it presents an exciting opportunity for learning and reflection. This is especially true for the mediation space. In this masterclass our expert speakers and panellists, many of whom identify as being Neurodiverse themselves will explore how neurodiversity encompasses both a community of people, and a movement.
This will be an exploration of mediation as a powerful tool for conflict resolution. Whether you're a current mediator or simply interested, this event covers key areas where mediation has a positive impact — Workplace, Community, Family, and Commercial —with a special focus on adapting the process for neurodiverse individuals. Don’t miss out on learning more and enhancing your mediation skills to make a real impact. We welcome mediators, lawyers, practitioners and anyone interested in neurodiversity, networking and learning.
It’s a full day event, with our programme including a range of speakers of experience, theory and practice of mediation and neurodiversity, network and learning.
Our programme includes:
- A plenary session; Defining and embracing neurodiversity in mediation
- Case studies from respected mediators in their specialised fields; Workplace, Commercial, Community and Family
- Interactive workshops, including how to adapt mediations, the challenges of family mediations, pre-conceptions, and bias.
