Aim:

To help Activity Providers use seasonal themes and celebrations as a meaningful platform to encourage movement, engagement, and joy throughout the year.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

• Identify opportunities within seasonal events to promote movement

• Design festive activities that are accessible and inclusive

• Encourage participation from individuals with varying physical abilities

• Understand how to align celebration-based activities with wellbeing outcomes

Delivery Methods:

- Delivered live by an expert in activity provision, with extensive experience in the care sector

- Includes video demonstrations, breakout sessions, practical tasks, downloadable handouts, and live Q&A

- Fun, engaging, and packed with ready-to-use ideas

Registration Fee: £49.99 per attendee- This includes certificate of completion and post-course resource pack.

Please note: The training environment will need to be quiet and undisturbed. Staff will need to give the course their full attention and should not be on duty.

As an attendee of the training day you MUST have your camera on during all of the sessions, this is to verify your participation/attendance.

Certificates of attendance will only be issued to attendees who attend for the whole of the session. This course will be delivered via ZOOM and will include, presentations, discussion and reflection, case studies, videos and demonstrations. Please make sure that you are familiar with using ZOOM.
