Mastering Communication in Conflict.

Mastering Communication in Conflict.

Bright Hope HouseCoalville, England
Monday, Feb 9 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm GMT
Overview

Move from a reactive stance, being controlled by emotions, to a proactive and skilled stance, where you consciously choose your response.

Conflict is often perceived as a threat, triggering our primal "Fight, Flight, or Freeze" responses. These reactive patterns lead to communication breakdowns, damaged relationships, and unresolved issues. This session is founded on the principle that conflict is not inherently bad—it is a natural byproduct of differing perspectives. The problem lies not in the conflict itself, but in our unskilled reactions to it.

This workshop moves participants from a reactive stance, where they are controlled by their emotions, to a proactive and skilled stance, where they can consciously choose their response. By building self-awareness, teaching practical de-escalation tools, and fostering empathetic listening, we reframe conflict from a "battle to be won" into a "problem to be solved collectively." The ultimate goal is to equip individuals with the skills to transform moments of tension into opportunities for deeper understanding, stronger collaboration, and a more positive, proactive culture within their teams and relationships.

What to expect if you've never been before.

Our class based workshops are a relaxed way to find out more about how to improve your overall wellbeing. You will not be expected to speak up if you do not wish to, you can just turn up, grab a coffee, and listen in.
