Mastering Complex Communication
Join us for this dynamic, high-impact workshop designed to support development of Capabilities in Practice for all medical registrars.
Saturday 9th May or Saturday 13th June
This one day interactive, in-person course integrates clinical reasoning with advanced communication across scenarios frequently encountered in clinical setting, including serious illness discussions, managing uncertainty, navigating conflict, treatment escalation, and end-of-life care. Through simulation with professional medical actors, you will tackle the complex conversations and decision-making challenges that define real-world registrar practice.
Each simulation will be followed by detailed feedback and reflective learning supported by an expert facilitator.
Scenarios will incorporate:
- Ethical and leadership challenges
- Negotiating management in dynamic situations and at the end of life
- Balancing patient priorities with medical uncertainty
- Consideration of human factors
- Practice providing effective feedback to colleagues.
Places are limited to preserve the quality of the simulation and feedback — book now to avoid disappointment.
