Material Matters is a design fair based on the critically acclaimed podcast of the same name. Taking place during the London Design Festival, the four-day event brings together brands, designers, makers and organisations to investigate and demonstrate the importance of material intelligence for architecture and design.The fair takes place across five floors of the unique Bargehouse, Oxo Tower; an unadorned but magnificent former factory setting. It is spread across five floors, however there is only step-free access to the rooms on the first floor and second floor via folding platform lifts.
