The Henry Royce Institute is hosting an one‑day showcase exploring the growing role of Artificial Intelligence in materials science on Thursday 19 March in Manchester.

The emerging concept of Materials 4.0, in which digital methods are embedded to accelerate the discovery, design, manufacturing and lifecycle management of materials, is a key opportunity to accelerate materials impact. AI will be vital tool to deliver this step‑change across all areas of the materials value chain.
