Maximise Your Presence on LinkedIn
Workshop with Elizabeth Blake, Founder of Apple Orchard Marketing.
For most businesses, and certainly starts-ups, LinkedIn can be an effective and inexpensive way to connect with potential clients, collaborators, and investors; build brand visibility and credibility and tap into industry insights and updates. But, as with most things in life, the more you put in potentially, the more you can get out.
Join us for an exclusive workshop led by our expert Marketer in Residence, Elizabeth Blake, at BIPC Bristol.
In this dynamic session, Elizabeth will guide you through the intricacies of maximising your presence on LinkedIn, both at an individual and company level. Learn the art of crafting a compelling profile, optimize your posting frequency, and understand the strategic approach of sending posts to a targeted audience before reaching a wider network. Elizabeth will delve into the significance of incorporating hashtags and engaging images for increased visibility and impact.
The workshop culminates in a live session where you will have the opportunity to develop your personalized LinkedIn post template, utilizing the user-friendly Canva platform. Don't miss this chance to elevate your LinkedIn game and make meaningful connections in the professional sphere. Secure your spot now for an enriching experience that will undoubtedly boost your online presence.
IMPORTANT: Laptop and Canva account required
The second part of the session will have a focus on Canva. If you able to bring your own laptop then you will be able take part in some of the activities. We do have some loan laptops available but not enough to cover all of the group. Also, if you do not already have a free Canva account, if possible please sign up for one before the event.

About your trainer - Elizabeth Blake
Elizabeth Blake is the Managing Director of Apple Orchard Marketing. She has worked in sales and marketing roles with increasing seniority over the last 30 years. She has worked for companies from multinationals to start ups.
At university, she trained as a podiatrist. While enjoying the healthcare environment, she didn't feel she was making enough of a difference, so moved into a sales role in pharmaceuticals. She realised she loved having involvement in healthcare but in a commercial capacity. Elizabeth then moved into orthopaedics and quickly into marketing. She has held roles including a marketing function ever since. These have been for large established companies launching new divisions and products and also start up companies as the first commercial hire so there was no brand, no marketing plan, and no sales presentation!
So, Elizabeth knows what it's like to be in a start up company with a great idea for a product or service, maybe you have even got some sales, but you don't have any idea where marketing fits. Apple Orchard Marketing is here to help.
Workshops are free for all aspiring entrepreneurs, start ups, and small businesses in the West of England Combined Authority region. All events are funded by the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority through the UKSPF.
