The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) is home to the world's largest collection of working historic computers.Follow the development of computing: from the Turing-Welchman Bombe and Colossus of the 1940s through the large systems and mainframes of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, to the rise of personal computing and the rise of mobile computing and the internet.Recognised as one of England’s top 100 ‘irreplaceable places’, we welcome corporate and group visits, schools and individuals from all over the world.We are normally open Tuesday to Friday 10:30 -17:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:30 – 17:00. Please check tickets for actual opening days and times.TNMOC operates independently of Bletchley Park Trust, although we are located on the Bletchley Park Estate.To visit us, go through the main Bletchley Park entrance, through the barrier, walk or drive bearing left beyond the main car parks, to our separate entrance located at the top of the Park.Visit their website here for more information.https://www.tnmoc.org/Sat Nav users: please use the postcode for the railway station MK3 6DS on Sherwood Drive and then follow signs. Our STEM Bytes Festivals are a must-go event during the school holidays for children and families keen to try something new, educational and fun! These sessions are an opportunity to experience a 'Byte'-sized taste of a selection of major STEM topics.

STEAM Family Half-Term Activities! Fun for the whole familyYou will also have the opportunity to explore the whole museum as a family and be inspired by the hands-on demonstrations from our expert guides and volunteers.We offer a variety of activities from Sphero Bolts, Minecraft and OSMO Augmented Reality to programming BBC Micros and BBC micro:bits!So, lots to fascinate kids throughout the half term.Our educational STEM activities have become the go-to Milton Keynes event for children wanting creative fun during the school holidays and every weekend throughout the year. From Minecraft to OSMO, BBC micro:bits to Robotics, there is plenty to do to unlock imaginations, inspire and entertain. Educational fun for all the family, providing byte sized tasters of coding, robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality and much much more!Please note that these hands-on activities are not drop-off events. The workshop utilises popular tools and resources such as Minecraft Education Edition, Micro:Bits, and OSMO Augmented Reality Kits to make coding more accessible and engaging for learners. Participants will have the opportunity to explore coding concepts through hands-on activities and projects. This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced coders alike, and is designed to be both fun and educational.Tuesday 28th May - RoboticsThis workshop is focused on robotics and includes two sessions. Participants will use a variety of robotics kits, including Sphero Bolts, Cubetto, and Ozobots to learn about programming and robots. The workshop is designed to be accessible to participants of all ages, and has something for everyone!Sunday 2nd June - ProgrammingThis workshop is designed to introduce participants to the world of coding and programming. The workshop utilises popular tools and resources such as Minecraft Education Edition, Micro:Bits, and OSMO Augmented Reality Kits to make coding more accessible and engaging for learners. Participants will have the opportunity to explore coding concepts through hands-on activities and projects.
