Whats this? Another poetry night?! By Morocco Bound??! But at Brockley Brewery?!?!?!
You bet your sweet sonnet it is.
Our poetry nights have become staple in the Morocco Bound calendar for almost 3 years now and you guys love them so much we are branching out and adding another date in collab with one of our favourite beer suppliers: Brockley Brewery.
We are launching this new event due to the growing popularity of our in store poetry night and to provide a further platform for those in the poetry community to share their work at an inclusive and community driven event. The event will run much like our regular nights but we will have two FEATURED performers at the end of the night - poets TBC.
We will run these events on the second Monday of every month and readings will run from 7pm. If you are performing please arrive from 6pm so we can give you the full schedule for the night.
It goes without saying that our poetry events are a safe and inclusive space for all. We ask performers to take accountability for their own words and issue any neccessary trigger warnings/disclaimers before their performance.
Each performer has a 5 min slot - if you would like to perform at a specific time please DM us otherwise you will be assigned a time slot upon arrival.
