Her background is in broadcast TV journalism working for global network TV channels. From being a Producer/Director of documentaries, she has been a Presenter of BBC TV World Business Report and Europe Correspondent for CNBC Europe. Commissioner for BBC World TV Features. Also a pioneer Videojournalist, University Lecturer and Media Trainer for governments including Turkey, Qatar, Sudan and Ethiopia, as well as for the UN. Following on from being a Director and Head of Media in UK government communications, Vivien now advises on advocacy, PR campaigns, media relations and social media strategy for a bio-technology company and other clients. As well as working as a Trainer on creative writing, mobile journalism and giving talks on a range of topics , as an author around the UK and in the USA.
