The workshop takes place in the upper level of the Centre, accessed via a set of wooden stairs which are fairly steep. You can expect medieval experiences of sounds and smells as the building is a visitor centre where other crafts and skills take place on the ground floor.

Due to the character of the building there are no toilet facilities, however, there are public toilets a few strides away. There is a pay and display car park close to the building.

You may like to take advantage of the many eateries in the town including cafes and pubs. There is a good pizzeria almost opposite the building.
