Meet Outside: Connect, Move, Reset - Quick stroll around Haddenham, Bucks
A quick Solstice weekend lunchtime stroll around Haddenham, starting at Tickety Brew, Banks Parade and walking on pavements and fields
Here's a last minute Solstice weekend stroll for 12:30 this Saturday 20th December. I had a cancellation at work so I'm heading out for a quick lunchtime walk and you're more than welcome to join me.
The aim of this meet is to get outside, connect with others, and enjoy the outdoors for our wellbeing - whether it’s with fellow humans or the occasional animal along the way. Everyone is welcome.
This time, we'll be strolling around Haddenham, Bucks. We'll meet outside Tickety Brew at 12:30pm and aim to finish around 1:30pm at the same place. You're welcome to get refreshments at Tickety Brew, Norsk or one of the local pubs if you feel to. The weather can be unpredictable, so bring whatever you need to stay comfortable.
Our route will take us along pavements and possibly through some fields (very muddy so come prepared!).
We'll be walking on pavements, slippery mud and grass. We’ll also likely see other walkers and animals. Our group tends to have a mix of abilities, and we’re aim to be respectful of one another’s pace.
Most of our meets have been walks, as wheeling hasn’t been as popular. Naturally, many of the countryside paths aren’t always wheelchair accessible, and you might see locations listed that don’t look suitable. If you’d prefer a wheel-friendly route, do get in touch and I’ll plan one for a future meet if there’s interest.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, if you have a dog please be aware there might be other dogs enroute.
Please book via Eventbrite so I know to expect you, since I might not always be there.
I'm looking forward to strolling with you!
