Meet The Experts - Post Budget Reflection

Join us for a practical “Meet the Experts” session for landlords on Thursday 12 February, focused on what the latest Budget really means in the real world.

Across the event you will hear from specialists covering tax, finance, regulation and safety. Rachel Barry, Tax Partner at Xeinadin, will break down the key Budget announcements for landlords, the latest on Making Tax Digital and what you should be planning for over the next 12 to 24 months. Jon Field, Corporate Banking Manager at Handelsbanken in Cardiff, will share insight on finance and portfolio lending for landlords, including how banks view your portfolio and what can help when you next review your borrowing.

Andrew Gregory, Director of The Letting Station and an experienced property expert, will look at the impact of the Budget on landlords day to day and share lessons from a recent Rent Smart Wales audit, including what a self managing landlord can expect. Finally, Sue James from Aico will cover smoke and carbon monoxide alarm requirements and the practical steps landlords need to take to stay compliant and protect their tenants.

This session is ideal for both portfolio and single property landlords, as well as self managing landlords who want clear, jargon free guidance. There will be time for Q&A with the speakers so you can get your specific questions answered.
