Join us for a private view and drinks reception to celebrate Anthropologie’s next exhibition at the Edinburgh store with local, green-fingered botanical casting studio, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/_imprint_casts/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">‘Imprint Casts’</a>, led by artist Katy Eccles. 
Katy of <a href="https://www.instagram.com/_imprint_casts/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">‘Imprint Casts’</a> will be showcasing the latest collection of botanical casts, inspired by a numeration of historical reference points – glazed terracotta used by Lucca Della Robbia in 15th century Florence, the neo-classicism of Robert Adams and the iconic Wedgwood pottery. 
All of Katy's botanical casts are handmade using fresh garden flowers and foliage, whose impression is taken in clay before being preserved in plaster to create a bespoke artwork. 
During the evening, Katy will be carrying out a live demonstration of her casting technique, making a botanical cast live in store and talking attendees through the various steps of the making process.
