About this event

  • 2 hours

You're invited to join us for an informal and free 'meet and greet' event, featuring Market ward candidates for the Cambridge City Council elections 2024.

Together Culture member and historian Antony Carpen has arrange this informal and free 'meet and greet' event, featuring Market ward candidates and/or party representatives.

This is a party-politically-neutral event for the purposes of enabling residents to meet and scrutinise all of the candidates on their ballot papers without fear or favour.

Even if you do not have the franchise/vote as residents of Market ward you can still put your questions to the candidates. Children are welcome to put their questions to the candidates too, providing they are accompanied by a responsible adult.

Everyone is reminded of the principles of the Debate Not Hate campaign sponsored by the Local Government Association. Please debate and disagree politely.

Together Culture is a growing community making room for Cambridge locals to co-create, collaborate and help others.

We create inclusive, creative and shared experiences in Cambridge, and provide a framework for people to experiment, explore and design new solutions to the challenges we face today.

All our experiential and interactive programming emerged in a series of CoDesign sessions run across the year in 2022 with hundreds of Cambridge citizens - this is made by and for the people of Cambridge.
