Join Community Forestry team to help care for a new hedgerow at Linley Bank Meadows. What's Mulch? We will be applying a layer of mulch (woodchip) around the trees to stop weed growth and give the trees the best start in their new home. The task invloves shoveling the woodchip into buckets and then emptying the woodchip around the trees. It's a great way to exercise and is super satisfying (if a little repetetive!)Feel free to come for the whole day or just a few hours.Meeting Point: Beighton Road entrance - https://maps.app.goo.gl/ideZx4sPznospbtm6All tools, gloves and light refreshments provided.There is no toilet directly on site - nearest toilet is 15 mins walk.
