Join us with New Dawn Associates on the 30th commemoration of the Genocide Against Tutsi a day trip from Kigali to Nyamata Genocide Memorial and Mbyo Reconciliation Village. Immerse yourself in a journey of forgiveness and justice, a story reconciliation where perpetrators and survivors live together in harmony.

8:00 am: Briefing and Departure from the former UTC building

9:00 am: Arrival at Nyamata Genocide Memoria

10:30 am: Departure from Nyamata Genocide Memorial

1:00 pm: Arrival at the Reconciliation Village

Engage in conversations with survivors, perpetrators, and returnees living as a community. Learn about the ongoing reconciliation efforts and innovative initiatives fostering healing and understanding within Rwandan communities.

2:30 pm: Conclusion of the day

Depart back to Kigali, carrying with you the profound experiences insights on Rwandan history gained throughout the day.

This event welcomes Rwandans and friends of Rwanda who wish to stand in solidarity, honor the memory of the past, and contribute to a future filled with peace and reconciliation. Join us as we remember, unite, and renew our commitment to building a better tomorrow.
