From the Abbey Car park we will climb to the saddle of the Eildon Hills thendescend to the village of Bowden. From Bowden we will proceed to Rhymers Stone then return to Melrose via the Tweed. Mostly good paths and tracks across open country. Excellent views of hills and surrounding countrysideCheck in 10.10, Start time - 10.30, Distance - 8 miles, approx time - 5 hours, ascent 425 metres, grading - MODERATEStart and end of walk - Abbey Car Park, Buccleuch Street, Melrose  TD6 9GL
