MEMBERS ONLY EVENT

Girls Football Tournament for member schools.

Schools can enter Y5/6 teams. The top two placed winners from each area, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells will head through into the final which will be held at Longmead stadium on the Tonbridge Angels first team pitch!

Schools can enter more than one team.

Time: 3:50 pm arrival (NO EARLIER) for a 4pm start. Finished by 6pm

Venue: St Gregory's School sports centre entrance Tunbridge Wells, 3G Astro

Parking: On site on the St Greg's playground more information will be sent closer to the event

Parent Spectators: Allowed. MUST stay behind barriers/fencing

Team Req: 5 aside with max 8 per team. Girls in Y5 or Y6

Event Capacity: 20 teams (10 Tonbridge, 10 Tunbridge Wells)

Rules/Game Play

  • All players must be in Y5 or Y6
  • 5 on the pitch at any one time
  • Goalkeepers must be in a different colour top to outfield players.
  • All players must be wearing shin pads and correct footwear (moulded boots, no metal studs, or AstroTurf trainers)
  • Free kicks can be direct (doesn’t need to be passed to someone first before scoring).
  • Players must be 4 yards from the kicking during free kicks and goal kicks.
  • Slide tackling is allowed, however dangerous challenges/tackles will be called up and that player warned
  • Back passes are allowed (keeper is not allowed to pick it up).
  • Ball is allowed overhead height.
  • Corners are in play.
  • If the ball goes out of play it will be a throw in NOT a kick in.
  • Referee has the authority of the match (pupils and teachers must respect the referee’s decision- it is final!).
  • When a goal is scored, play is restarted from the centre.
  • Players are allowed to enter the penalty area on both ends.
  • Substitutes can be made throughout the game and the play does not have to stop.

There will be no yellow or red cards however warnings can be given to players and then referees have the right to ask teachers to swap players out for the remainder of that fixture.


All people will need to depart at 6pm sharp due to other bookings taking place.
