Memory Quilt 3 Workshop

We invite you to join our creative workshop to make a square to be included in the memoral quilt naming and honouring the children killed in Gaza. During this workshop you will design and make a decorative square in remembrance of an individual child using the beautiful and versatile techniques of appliqué, fabric collage and embroidery. No previous experience is needed, and all guidance and materials are provided.

Completed squares will be stitched together to create into new panels of the quilt alongside those created by other artists, crafters and creatives from across the UK and internationally.

The workshop will be delivered by Fiona Bailey, Fiona initiated and coordinates Each Child a Light, an international participatory arts project naming and remembering the children killed in Gaza. She is an artist whose practice is rooted in collaborative community arts and arts education, and is shaped by active and collective participation.
