Develop knowledge and skills in conversations about mental health and suicide.
Please note that this is an IN-PERSON training.
This is a basic awareness training for anyone in any walk of life who has an interest in learning about mental health, wellbeing, and suicidal feelings.
No prior knowledge of the subject is needed before attending.
This training looks at mental health and wellbeing and explores ways to promote positive wellbeing within different settings.
The workshop then goes on to cover suicide awareness and provides participants with the knowledge and skills to have compassionate conversations with people who are experiencing mental distress or may be feeling suicidal.
Tea/coffee will be available.

Please arrive by 9.15am, at the entrance door, where you will be met by myself or Fiona Matthews who will take you to the training room.
