About this event

Oversigt / Overview

Liv Vester Larsen forklarer,

Medvirkende:
Liv Vester Larsen (DK), musiker og komponist
Yamit Salazar, Olivia Kirk (UK), dansere

Experience MERGING: A Powerful Fusion of Dance, Music, and Visual Art

This August, witness the world premiere of MERGING — an evocative new performance born from an international collaboration between Danish artists Liv Vester Larsen and Nanna Rosenfeldt-Olsen, and the UK-based Eliot Smith Dance. Presented in partnership with Åsen Teater and Maskinhallen, MERGING weaves together contemporary dance, live music, and striking visual art in a unique, cross-aesthetic experience that is both intimate and expansive.

Building on the successful 2023 work MERGE, this latest creation shifts its lens to North Jutland, co-created with local residents to reflect the region’s landscapes and cultural narratives. Featuring performances by Larsen herself, ESD dancers Olivia Kirk and Yamit Salazar, and Rosenfeldt-Olsen’s visual artistry, and led by choreographer and artistic director Eliot Smith, MERGING invites you into a bold, sensory dialogue between place, people, and performance.

Don’t miss this dynamic celebration of community and creativity — where boundaries blur and artforms converge.

Tickets for the performance is free or Pay What You Decide.
