This Autumn, our programme team will be running a series of support events for you, our sections volunteers.

Progfest MerseysideCalling all section based volunteers!This Autumn, our programme team will be running a series of support events for you, our sections volunteers. These half day events will give you an opportunity to:· refresh your programme basics including running a quality programme and keeping our young people safe;· pick up tools, resources and programme ideas; and· tell us about the programme support you need to offer exciting and adventurous activities and enable all our young people to achieve their section top award.Each session will cover similar topics but will be section specific. We would love to see as many of our section volunteers as possible in attendance, but places are limited - so please only book a space in the session designed for your primary role.The event is designed for Section Team Leaders and Team Members (currently Section Leaders, Assistant Section Leaders, Section Assistants) as well as District programme support roles (currently Assistant District Commissioners District Explorer Scout Commissioners and teams). Pullman Hotel Liverpool, King’s Dock, Liverpool L3 4FPSquirrel Section Event:Saturday, 5th October 2024 - Arrival 9.30am for 9.45am start. Departure 12.30pm.Beaver Section Event:Saturday, 5th October 2024 – Arrival 2.00pm for 2.15pm start. Departure 5pm.
