Metabarcoding analysis using QIIME2 workshop by the Amsterdam Science Park Study Group

About this event

This interactive workshop will teach you how to do metabarcoding analysis using QIIME2. Hands-on modules in the afternoons will give you the opportunity to work on your own data and/or use the cluster to perform analyses. The instructor will be Evelien Jongepier, bioinformatician of the Institute for Biodiversity and Ecosystem Dynamics. There will be two helpers: Fred White and Anouk Zancarini.

This event is free for students and staff of the University of Amsterdam Faculty of Science.

Small costs (10-50 euros) to be determined for external participants.

This small community of computational biologists aims to promote skill sharing and collaboration through the organisation of interactive workshops. It acts as the main local hub to set-up Software and Data Carpentry workshops (official workshops and Carpentry-style). All are welcome to this study group, regardless of scientific research area, affiliation or training level.
