Metal embossed heart craft workshop

A fun and relaxing workshop, learning an easy method of metal embossing, resulting in a colourful heart decoration.

A fun introduction to the art of metal embossing, the techniques learned in this workshop are based on traditional 'milagritos' (little miracles) and 'corazones mexicanos' (Mexican hearts or sacred hearts).

We’ll start off the workshop by working on your own heart design, which I will guide you through.

Once your design has been drawn, I will take you through the methods of metal embossing the heart. Once the metal embossing has been finished, we will decorate the heart with colour.

The finished heart can then be used as a wall decoration.

The workshop takes place at my home workshop just outside Stanley, County Durham. It is a small workshop, so workshop classes are also small, which means you will receive plenty of individual attention.

This workshop will need at least two people booked on it to go ahead.

Please note that my home workshop is accessed by stairs.

Hot drinks and cake will be served during the workshop, please let me know of any dietary requirements when you book.
