Led by award-winning director Hal Chambers this project is performed by students from MA/MFA Actor Musicianship and MA/MFA Theatre for Children and Young People, in collaboration with students from our BA and MA Design, Management and Technical Arts
Award-winning director Hal Chambers and a company of students from the MA/MFA Actor-Musicianship and MA/MFA Theatre for Children and Young People reimagine the myths of Metamorphoses as an electrifying piece of gig theatre.
Ovid’s performative poem has inspired generations of artists and audiences. Over two thousand years later, they are reimagined for our world by three leading British playwrights, who remix ancient stories into a spectacle of music, movement, and theatrical rebellion—a festival of myth that crackles with excitement and invites you to explore the power of transformation, human resilience and our capacity for wonder.
