Metastatic Breast Cancer Study Day- Tuesday 13th January 2026

Overview

This study day will focus on important approaches to management of patients with secondary (or metastatic) breast cancer.

Topics will include all aspects of the patient pathwayIncluding recent advances in systemic and local therapies for secondary breast cancer. There will also be sessions on the prevention and management of treatment toxicities.

Target audience

Oncology professionals (including allied health professionals, pharmacists and nurses) and General Practitioners working with Secondary Breast Cancer patients

What to expect

Leaders in their respective fields will present updates on the management of early breast cancer of all major subtypes: HER2+, triple negative & hormone receptor positive. Session will be interactive to facilitate learning.

Venue Information

The Christie Education Centre is located on the 2nd floor in Dept 17 of the main hospital and can be accessed by stairs or lift. Toilets are also on this floor including an accessible toilet. The auditorium has a hearing loop available and ramp access. A prayer room is available and close by. We want everyone attending our event in person to have the best possible experience.
