Event description

Description

Dr Joanne Santini (UCL Biosciences) and Dr Celia Caulcott (UCL Vice-Provost: Enterprise) would like to invite you to the first MICROBIOLOGY@UCL symposium to celebrate the study of microbiology at UCL and beyond, covering the three broad areas of microbiology: virology, prokaryotic and eukaryotic microbiology. We have three eminent external speakers, including the 2018 winner of the Microbiology Society Prize Medal, Jillian Banfield (UC Berkeley). UCL research will be showcased with invited speakers representing four faculties, with talks on subjects ranging from bacterial sex to the virus that causes chicken pox.
