During this one-hour live training session, available on Wednesday 26 April, you will build confidence and gain knowledge in using and managing Teams Voice.

There will be an optional 30 minutes extra after the session, (hosted within a dedicated Teams site) to ask questions and explore content, should you wish to block this time into your diary.

Once you have completed your booking you will receive an email confirmation from noreply@order.eventbrite.com, this will contain a Teams live event meeting link that will enable you to join the training. Please do keep an eye on your Outlook "Other" folder as well as your "Junk Email" - the email should arrive within minutes.

By the end of the session, colleagues should be able to:

Access Teams Voice on multiple devices
Understand and use Teams-to-Teams calls and Teams Voice calls
Manage and organise call contacts
Customise voicemail and call forwarding options
Use the accessibility features available within Teams (please note this section will include accessibility features that support voice only calls, BSL features are not applicable for Teams Voice).

The session content will include:

Teams External Calling Project overview
Accessing the Teams Voice app
Making and receiving calls internally and externally. (Teams-to-Teams calls vs Teams Voice calls, Ad hoc calls in chats, channels and calendar, Calls view, Making a call from dial pad)
Managing your contacts and groups. (Speed dial, Adding contacts)
Call management. (Setting up and accessing voicemail, Call forwarding, Holding and transferring calls, Accessibility functionality and best practice/ Device settings).
Device and call settings.(Status/notifications/quiet hours)
Teams mobile app
Good practice and wellbeing

One of the ‘Microsoft Teams Voice’ sessions has been recorded and is now available to watch on StaffNet with the addition of closed captioning. We are currently producing a version that will have the addition of BSL interpretation and will be able to share this with you soon.
