Midsummer Relay

The South London Swimming Club is one of England’s oldest swimming clubs, founded in 1906. Our home is Tooting Bec Lido. It is the largest fresh water pool in England, encircled by trees and birdsong. The water is clear and cold and the welcome warm. We swim outdoors all year round and encourage people to share in these pleasures.

The SLSC Midsummer Relay returns to Tooting Bec Lido for 2017! Put together a team of four swimmers for a 4x1x4 relay – each swimmer swims four times so a total of 16 lengths (1600 yards) swum per team. Each team must be mixed gender. Minimum age of swimmers is 10 years old. Teams are divided into age groups (under 100, 101-150, 151-200, over 200). Maximum of three teams per club please.
Entry fee of £12.50 per swimmer (plus fee) includes a delicious falafael feast. Bring your own drink :)
And also please bring one time-keeper per team.

Registration opens at 7pm, race starts at 8pm.
