Migration Awareness Day -Charity Fundraiser In Aid of The Migrant English Project and Santuary On Sea

A day of events themed around migration incorporating musical performances, comedy, art installations, film screenings, talks, lectures and workshops to highten awareness of the issues around migration and raise money for local migrant support charities. Special guests include: afrobeat jazz maestro Lekan Babalola, indie art rockers Port Erin, comedy from Asian Woman of The Year for Art And Culture Sajeela Kershi, Iranian born film-maker Amir Amirani, comedian Juliet Meyers, theatre troupe Mukul And The Ghetto Tigers, author and activist David Wilson and afro jazz dance band Joko plus much more in venues and break-out spaces across the University campus.
