Description

Miles for Men + Walk for Women present the 7th annual 5k charity fun run and family fun day, dedicated to Demi Leigh Day who is the daughter of the founder of Miles for Men, Micky Day.

Demi was diagnosed in 2015 with brain cancer and battled for nearly 4 years until sadly on the 16th of December 2018, after a long battle, Demi Leigh gained her angel wings at the young age of 21. Micky and his familly are devastated and miss Demi terribly, especially her little sister Tori, aged 15, and brother Michael, aged 12. Please come and support us as you always do, this year is a very special year raising money and also awareness for people like Demi Leigh.

This years run/walk will be Team Demi, all people taking part will run in Demi's favourite colour, lilac. The run takes takes place from Seaton Clock Tower, along the sea front to the end car park and back to the Clock Tower. This is an amazing day out for the family, raising vital funds for our local Hartlepool Charity to help real local people.

Whether you run, walk, crawl, hop, ride in a scooter, push a buggie or walk your dog, join in the 5k event for a great cause... Every little helps! All ages and all abilities can join in this amazing event.

In addition to the 5k run, there will be loads of family fun with stalls, live music, food stands, rides, competitions and more for a full day out!

Every entrant will recieve a T-Shirt, Medal and a bottle of water! Registration is from 10am and the race commences at 1pm.

We look foward to seeing you, and thank you for your support.
