To celebrate our 50th Anniversary Millom &amp; District Local History Society are holding a special event: Millom Looking Back. Jonathan Powell will tell us about how the Society was set up in 1972 and look at some of the events held over the years. We will then cover the history of Millom by looking at artefacts found by Josh Carr, metal detectorist, and Duane Farren, local historian and metal detectorist; Josh and Duane will share their finds from pre-history up to modern times.
