Mind Mapping Workshop
Wed 7 December 2016, 14:45 – 16:00
Why should I go?
Are you looking for new ways of revising and memorising information? Do you prefer thinking in colours, lines and pictures rather than blocks of text? Mind mapping is a great way to organise information to make it easier to retrieve facts, figures and topics from your memory, and remember the links between them. This skill will benefit you when undertaking revision, organising your notes or recalling information in an exam.
What will I learn?
This workshop gives you the skills and techniques required to use mind mapping. Colours, pictures, and connections help you to remember the flow of information, and the methods you will learn will help you to commit your learning to memory. You will have the opportunity to start your own mind map, so you might want to come along with a topic in mind - perhaps something from a recent lecture, seminar or assignment.
This workshop is open to all current registered University of Sheffield students. Please bring your UCard with you to the workshop.
