The Delicate Mind/ Naazuk Zein has been set up through Three Faiths Forum Alumni.The Delicate Mind / Naazuk Zein is an information and advice project designed to help men from BAME backgrounds to reach out to faith leaders, mental health charities and experts to enable individuals to access help. We work with a range of faith leaders, charities and youth groups to educate communities about mental health and masculinity. The Delicate Mind Naazuk Zein

In England 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem each year. 75% of Londoners identify with a religious backgroud, therefore faith leaders have a role to play in tackling the taboo and stigma associated with mental health.
At this unique, by The Delicate Mind/ Naazuk Zein we will exploring the relationship between faith, mental health, and masculinity through film and conversation by The Delicate Mind. During our FREE workshop we will be exploring: 
Through film, conversation, interactive workshops, poetry and art personal stories of men affected by:
Anxiety, Depression and Self Harm. 
During this we will learn about the holisitic approach required for supporting those affected by poor mental health.
We will connect with mental health charities, experts, and faith leaders in an open dialogue about mental health as to what we can do to bettter support individuals living with mental health issues.
In doing so examining the role of family and friends supporting loved ones living with a mental health condition.
We will highlight the role that faith communities can play in supporting those affected by mental health.  This will lead to a final open conversation in which we will collectively decide on ideas as to how we can better support those affected by mental health issues and how we can help influence progressive mental health change through our own advocacy.
