About this Event
This Mindfulness for Stress taster session with psychologist, Dr. Victoria Galbraith, provides an overview of stress and the impacts of stress on both physical and mental health. There will be an introduction to mindfulness practices and an overview of the Mindfulness for Stress course. The facilitator will share her own personal and professional reasons for engaging in a mindfulness practice and the benefits of this.
It is advisable to wear loose comfortable clothing and all equipment will be provided. However, if you have any meditation equipment (e.g. yoga mat, meditation stool or blanket), please feel free to bring these with you.
Refreshments will be provided and there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
