And Here's the Good News....!
Diana Woodman from the Highland Mindfulness Group will be leading our first meditation day in our new venue at The Treehouse in Inverness. One of our trained mindfulness facilitators, Diana writes:
"I'm sure many of us will have felt a variety of responses to the seemingly-endless trail of bad news stories this year – distress, helplessness, anger, numbness, guilt, to name but a few. And rarely do these feelings lead to anything constructive.
This Meditation Day will allow us to press PAUSE on negative news and turn our attention to events, research and meditation practices that will help us become more aware of the goodness within ourselves, each other and complete strangers. We will practise meditations that explore goodness: what it means, what it feels like, and find ways of nurturing the goodness within us so as to harness its energy and bring more courage, trust and love into our daily lives and the interactions within them.
Be prepared to be amazed!"
