About this event

  • 2 hours

What better way to unwind after a busy day than with some mindful self-care? During this workshop, we will harness the tactile nature of clay and use it as an aid in our mindful breathing techniques, helping to relieve our daily stresses and tensions.

You will then have the opportunity to explore the art of clay carving. Each mindful touch will create a decortative pattern, transforming your piece of clay into your very own ceramic trinket dish. Leaving you with a sense of acumplishment and a mindful masterpiece for you to take home an cherish.

The workshop is 2hrs. After the workshop, your trinket dish will be fired and glazed ready for collection in 3-4 weeks' time (approx).

The workshop is suitable for a range of abilities, including beginners. Participants must be aged 18 + only.

All tools and materials will be provided. Clay can be a little messy, so I would recommend wearing relaxed clothing or bringing your own apron.

Please note, that because materials and tools need to be ordered in advance, cancellations will need to be made 7 days before the start date, in order to be refunded or rescheduled.

The workshop will take place in the in The Back Room, Urmston. Hot drinks will be provided.

Disclaimer- please note that whilst this workshop aims to help you to relax and focus on positivity, it is not a therapy session.
