Mindfulness Workshop
Overview

This 2 hour workshop will introduce you to meditation skills, techniques and practices to support you with student life challenges.

Are you constantly worrying about course work? Comparing yourself to others? Checking different social media platforms? Studying without breaks? Feeling exhausted or overwhelmed?

One of the best ways to rest the brain and gain awareness of repeating thoughts and feelings is meditation.

This 2-hour Mindfulness workshop is designed to give you an introduction to meditation skills, techniques and practices to support you with academic and student life challenges.

In this workshop we explore parts of the nervous system, how to self-regulate, engage the brain’s default mode and process information while in rest mode.

Join us in a variety of meditations to notice sensations and pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judgment.
