Join us for garden jobs, messy play, crafts, and a sandwich lunch.
Each week, we will learn about a different aspect of wildlife in the village square garden, whether it's ladybirds, bees, or hedgehogs. The sessions will be varied, but will involve getting hands-on with watering cans, bugs, and occasionally mud too.
The sessions are suitable for children and their grown-ups! Siblings of differing ages very welcome too. There will be a range of activities for your children to be involved with, so you can watch on with a warm cup of tea, or sit cuddling your littlest whilst your biggest dives into the activities, or get stuck in yourself too! Please note, we do require parents to be in attendance at all times.
If the weather is poor, we will still go ahead, but we will host the session inside the Stoke Youth and Community Centre.
Splash suits or clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty are advised, as sometimes we may get a little mucky.
The sessions are free, and include a sandwich lunch towards the end of the session. We do gratefully accept donations to go towards future events, which you can choose to do so in our donations pot next to the Tea and Coffee.
We will ask your child's age during the booking process so we can tailor the activities to their ability, but if you would like to discuss this with our team beforehand, please email Kirsty at bloom@thevillagehub.org.uk.
