A workshop to create a miniature  animal garden from natural and recycled materials . Suitable for ages  5-11 years.

Gardener's Cottage, Beckenham Place Park

Join us for a creative workshop to make a miniature garden for animals. The workshop will start with a walk in the park to collect some natural materials to use to make the gardens. Then horticultural therapist Michelle Brandon will guide participants through the process of making the miniature garden, using natural and recycled materials.Children are free to bring their own materials too and any animal figures that they want to include in their garden - dinosaurs, dogs, minibeasts, anything goes! (Please note we will not be supplying animal figures - you can add them after if you don&#x27;t have them on the day)The gardens can be entered into our <a href="https://beckenhamplacepark.com/events/bpp-show-2022" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">annual flower show</a> on 31 July!You will need to: wear suitable footwear for a walk.All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.The workshop is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
